The complete restoration of a 1959 Kettenburg K-40, hull number one. Oh Joy had been out of the water for more than 18 years, sitting in a barn in Oregon and lost to the world. She is in need of a complete restoration in which details of the work are still unfolding. It is sure to include engine, spar, rigging, hull, structural, paint, brightwork and other types of work to be performed. |

Seasmoke |
|
This is an opportunity for someone to own Seasmoke, a 1959 Kettenburg K-40, hull number three. She was built for James Arness (Matt Dillon of Gunsmoke fame) and raced successfully until Mr. Arness took delivery of K-50 hull number one. She was cruised in the South Pacific and to Hawaii often and the modifications done to her to increase seaworthiness offshore are evident. We are currently seeking sponsors or a client for her full restoration. |
